Joint and sponsored research
Several studies on our agenda are ready to run and waiting on resources — measuring every US state separately, mapping India's internal connectivity, examining why the world's largest language barely crosses its own border. An institution, foundation, or company can underwrite one of these and see it published openly, with the sponsor acknowledged and the findings free for everyone.
Academic collaboration works the same way in the other direction: if your team is working on language demography, communication networks, or migration, our data and methodology are open to joint work.
Advertising and sponsorship on our platforms
LINGACON's public-facing projects reach an audience that is, by definition, interested in languages, travel, education, and international communication — language schools, publishers, translation and localization services, universities, and cultural institutions among them. Sponsorship and advertising placements on Linguistic Planet and across the project's properties are available, in formats that keep the research independent and clearly separated from commercial content.
Media, education, and expert commentary
Journalists and data desks are welcome to use published figures with attribution, and we are glad to explain what a number does and does not support before it appears in print. Universities and educational publishers can license the datasets and visual materials for teaching.
